Rate: $55/hr C2C

Duration: 12+months

Job Summary: Seeking an experienced PLC Programmer / Controls Programmer to support programming, troubleshooting, automation, and commissioning of custom industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

Develop and modify PLC, HMI, and motion-control programs
Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, networks, and safety systems
Support machine startup, FAT, SAT, and commissioning
Maintain controls documentation, I/O lists, and software revisions
Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve controls issues

Required Skills

5+ years of Industrial Controls Programming
Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting
HMI development and operator interfaces
Machine automation, motion control, and safety systems
EtherNet/IP and Profinet
ETO / custom machinery experience
VFDs, servo drives, and industrial networks

Preferred Skills

Allen-Bradley / Rockwell, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000
FactoryTalk View
Siemens S7, TIA Portal, WinCC
Servo motion control and machine safety
Plastics extrusion / converting equipment
FAT, SAT, startup, and customer-site commissioning

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
